The Directors of NKMAA are very carefully chosen from the most loyal members of our association. We don’t have many, and this is a direct reflection of our desire for quality rather than quantity. The efforts, dedication, and loyalty of our Directors is truly appreciated by GM Timmerman.

GM Kevin JanisseGM K. Janisse – 9th dahn; Director » Pennsylvania
Grandmaster Janisse has studied with GM Timmerman for more than 35 years, and is the second inheritor of the art of Kong·Shin·Bup. He operates a school with his wife KJN Debbie and his sons, KSN Samuel and KSN Matthew. Grandmaster Janisse is the Pennsylvania representative for StickMasters.

CM John Orndorff*CM J. Orndorff – 8th DAN; Director » U.S.A.
Chiefmaster Orndorff has been a loyal member of NKMAA for many years and he is one of the key instructors at our Warrior Weekend. CM Orndorff oversees 2 schools in Ohio and is also an Ambassador for the Korean Martial Arts Brotherhood.

CM Steven Jensen*CM S. Jensen – 8th DAN; Director » Canada
Chiefmaster Jensen is currently in charge of the Legion Hapkido, with minimal assistance from GM Timmerman. CM Jensen is also NKMAA certified in grappling.

CM Tom Gordon*CM T. Gordon – 8th DAN; Director » Florida
Chiefmaster Gordon is an 8th degree Black Belt in the art of Taekwon‍-‍Do, and he also holds rank in Hap·Ki·Do. He operates the Gordon Martial Arts school with his loyal student KJN Greg Bledsoe, and he is the host of the popular Korean Martial Arts Festival (KMAF), in Crestview. CM Gordon is also the Florida Representative for StickMasters.

Chief Master Moore is an excellent Instructor of Tae·Kwon·Do, and he is also the Iowa Representative for StickMasters. Additionally, CM Moore is an Ambassador for the KMAB (Korean Martial Arts Brotherhood).

Chiefmaster Kunz has supported the NKMAA for many years, working closely with GM Timmerman ever since 2010. He has traveled the world promoting the art of Kuk‍-‍Sool Hap·Ki·Do and he is also the Texas Representative for StickMasters.

Senior Master DeGraaf is probably one of the most accomplished Hap·Ki·Do Instructors in NKMAA. GM Timmerman has had the pleasure of working with him for many years, and is extremely proud of his accomplishments as an Instructor.

Master Moghadasi was recently appointed as State Representative for Iran, and we welcome him to our esteemed group. We hope to see Master Moghadasi join us on the mats in North America soon, so we can share our passion for Korean martial arts.

Senior Master Miner passed his upper dahn degree in Tae Kwon Do at NKMAA HQ in a grueling 2 day test, the likes of which few can manage ~ he made everyone proud that weekend! 🙂 SM Miner also holds rank in Hap·Ki·Do.

Although Chiefmaster Ott is totally blind, that never stopped his enthusiasm for training. Not only that, CM Ott is VERY successful. His Super Summer Seminars in the beautiful State of Washington are legendary and he is an awesome host.

SM Richard WojanSM R. Wojan – 6th dahn; Director » Michigan
Senior Master Wojan originally studied with GM Janisse, who later moved to live in Oregon (and ultimately, to Pennsylvania), and that's when SM Wojan became the personal student of GM Timmerman. He is the Classmate of KJN Bourdage and together they frequently train with GM Timmerman.

Chiefmaster Ward and his partner KJN Angela Prince have traveled to train at HQ more than anyone else living so far away. This is a true testament of their desire to train diligently and both have also achieved rank in Kong Shin Bup.
