Chiefmaster Jensen started training the style of Goju Kai in 1999‍-‍2000 and quickly earned his yellow belt, studying at the Northern Martial Arts Academy headed by Hanshi Israel Segarra, located in Espanola and Little Current, Manitoulin Island. In 2002‍-‍2003, he started training with Sensei Dan Fletcher in Massey at the Northern School of Martial Arts, also studying Goju Kai (Sensei Fletcher was a student of Hanshi Israel Segarra).

In February 2005, CM Jensen began his study of Kuk Sool Hap·Ki·Do at Timmerman’s Martial Arts in Sault Ste. Marie, under Grandmaster Rudy Timmerman. This was because of a recommendation by Hanshi Segarra. He also trained with KJMS (Koong Joong Mu Sool) under Ronda Bourdage CKJN, and he is currently Master Instructor of Legion Hap·Ki·Do.

On August 9th, 2025 at the Warrior Weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, GM Timmerman appointed CM Jensen as one of the newly designated NKMAA Regional Directors, specifically, Director of Canada – responsible for teaching the art of Kuk Sool Hap·Ki·Do.
